python-cracklib software package provides Python bindings for password checker library cracklib2, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-cracklib
python-cracklib is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-cracklib package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-cracklib *
You will get with python-cracklib package name, version, architecture and description in a table
